This plant has a common name of Grafted Chikoo, Chiku, Sapota Fruit Plant (Manilkara zapota, Sapodilla Chikoo, Chiku, Sapota) and a variety name of Sapota. and its fruit is a brown color. It can be harvested all year round and needs 2 cups of water in the morning and 2 cups in the evening, as well as spraying of water in leaves and stems 2 to 3 times a day. It needs 3-6 hours of natural indirect bright sunlight for best results.

The soil composition should be 60% red soil and 40% cocopeat with rich organic fertilizer. Fertilizer to be used is Padmam Nursery's Organic Plant Booster Manure - 4 Tbsp every 7 Days + Vermicompost - 1 cup every 15 days. To protect the plant, remove dead, infected or damaged plant parts and discard them away from the plants. For any insect attack or disease, you can use Neem oil, Eucalyptus oil or Citrus oil spray for primary treatment.
