Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy – Padmam Nursery

At Padmam Nursery Private Limited, we take care to select, prepare and pack plants before dispatch. Since plants are living and perishable products, we follow a specific refund, return and cancellation policy.

By placing an order through www.padmamnursery.com, customers acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below, subject to applicable laws.

1. All Plant Orders Are Non-Refundable

All plant purchases made through Padmam Nursery are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Plants are living products that may naturally change in appearance and condition due to climate, temperature, humidity, handling and transportation.

Therefore:

  • No refunds will be provided for plant orders once purchased, except where required by applicable law.

  • Plants cannot be returned or exchanged after dispatch.

  • No replacement or compensation will be provided for plants reported as damaged during transportation.

  • Minor wilting, fallen leaves, broken branches, leaf discolouration and other natural variations are not eligible for refunds or replacements.

  • Customers are requested to carefully review product descriptions, photographs, specifications and delivery information before placing an order.

2. No Transit Damage Refunds or Claims

Padmam Nursery takes appropriate care when preparing and packing plants for shipment. However, plants may experience natural changes during transportation.

Please note:

  • We do not accept transit damage claims for plants.

  • No refunds, replacements or compensation will be provided for plants reported as damaged during transit, subject to applicable law.

  • Claims relating to fallen leaves, minor wilting, broken branches or changes in plant appearance during transportation will not be accepted.

  • Delays caused by courier services, weather conditions or transportation arrangements do not qualify for plant refunds or compensation, subject to applicable law.

3. Order Cancellation Policy

All orders placed through Padmam Nursery are prepaid.

Before Dispatch:

  • Customers may contact our support team to request cancellation before an order is dispatched.

  • Cancellation requests are subject to order processing status and approval.

  • Once an order has entered preparation, packing or dispatch, cancellation may not be possible.

  • Any approved cancellation and refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law and payment processing requirements.

After Dispatch:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched.

  • Customers cannot refuse or return dispatched plant orders to obtain a refund.

  • Orders returned due to customer refusal, incorrect address or unsuccessful delivery attempts are not eligible for refunds, subject to applicable law.

4. Refund Policy

Plant purchases are non-refundable.

Refunds will only be considered in circumstances where required by applicable law or where a payment-related issue has resulted in a valid refund entitlement.

Examples of payment-related situations include:

  • A payment is successfully debited but the order is not created or confirmed.

  • The same order amount is charged more than once due to a payment processing error.

  • An approved cancellation qualifies for a refund under applicable law.

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed to the original payment method.

The time taken for the amount to reflect in the customer's account depends on the payment gateway, bank and financial institution.

5. International Orders – Refund and Cancellation

All international orders are prepaid and subject to destination-country shipping and plant import regulations.

Please note:

  • International plant orders are non-refundable and non-returnable, subject to applicable law.

  • No refunds or replacements will be provided for transit-related plant damage.

  • Customs duties, import taxes, inspection fees and clearance charges are the customer's responsibility unless expressly stated otherwise.

  • Orders delayed, held, rejected, returned or confiscated by customs or other destination-country regulatory authorities are not eligible for refunds, subject to applicable law.

  • Customers are responsible for checking whether the ordered plants are permitted for import into their destination country before placing an order.

6. Incorrect Delivery Address and Failed Delivery

Customers must provide accurate and complete delivery information when placing an order.

Padmam Nursery will not be responsible for delivery failures caused by:

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses.

  • Incorrect PIN codes or postal codes.

  • Incorrect contact numbers.

  • Recipient unavailability.

  • Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts.

  • Customer refusal to accept the shipment.

Additional shipping charges may apply if reshipment is possible and requested by the customer.

Orders returned due to these circumstances are not eligible for refunds, subject to applicable law.

7. Non-Plant Products

For gardening tools, accessories, pots and other non-plant products, cancellation, return and refund requests will be evaluated according to the applicable product terms, order status and statutory consumer rights.

The non-refundable plant policy does not automatically extend to non-plant products where a different legal or contractual remedy applies.
